St. Philip’s Episcopal Church

I am reading and learning the history of Charleston, SC. Its history is quite interesting. But the more I read about books and articles, the more I feel about the real people lived there. What we see there are the remains of what people achieved as well as the evidence what they went through. People come and go. But when I closed my eye and stand at one of those old street corners, I almost hear the voices from the past and see the people in old fashioned clothes smiling at me. I forget where I am, past or present. Does it matter?
