It takes quite a long time to build up layers when I use the colored pencils. But I set a time which is only a few hours and finished it. I know that I will keep refining this image if I allow myself. It is hard to let it go but I will go on to the next image.

A few minutes from my home, there is a little beautiful tree park. People take a walk with their dogs. Children play and run with happy loud noise. But when the shadows become long at the end of the day, it takes me to the contemplative space. Wonderful.

I drew this image as an exercise with my students at school last Wednesday. Compared with the geometric forms, they found that it is quite a challenge to figure out the value patterns.

I spent a wonderful day at the nearby lake. Many ducks were walking around me and gave me their curious looks. This image was done quickly at home.
