Dina let me use her photo for this painting. She is such a talented photographer. It is fun to paint totally different subject matter. Her dramatic posture and facial expression are perfect for showing her confidence and her life. I apply the red rose patterns in the dark Burgundy background. Patti is a great photogenic beauty.
